What do I gain with a 24-hour ticket, how can I use and where can I buy it?
Use the 3,00 Euros daily ticket to discover the beauties of Athens. The ticket permits unlimited travel by all public transport means for 24 hours from validation. Validate the ticket only once as soon as you board on a bus, trolley, tram or enter a metro station. You can purchase it from any metro station or public transport ticket outlets. Is there any transport map, leaflet or guide? If yes, where can I find them?
Our team has already designed a complete public transport access guide to the most important places and locations of Athens, a new bus routes guide which includes stops and route diagrams and a wide range of local area public transport maps for those who wish to travel with our services. All leaflets, maps or guides are available at our central offices, (15 Metsovou str., near to the National Archaeological Museum) at metro stations and at specially designed stands in the airport. Is there any case I can transfer modes free of charge?
Free transfer is allowed in certain cases only from a blue bus line to another. Passengers can also transfer free from a metro line to another within 90 minutes if they hold the 0,70 Euros metro ticket. The ticket does not permit e return journey. For more information please click here
Is there any ticket price discount for children?
There is not any price discount or a particular type of ticket for children. However, kids under the age of six travel free. For more information please click here
Can I use the 17,50 Euros monthly travelcard for buses and trolley buses at the airport bus routes?
The 17,50 Euros monthly travelcard for buses and tolley buses is not valid for the airport bus routes. You can use, though, the monthly travelcard (35,00 Euros) and the annual travelcard (350,00 Euros) which both permit unlimited travel with all public transport modes.
